TOP FIVE THINGS TO DO IN VENICE!

image4

Hello everyone,

One week ago I had an amazing time at Venice. And I booked this flight last minute.
I definitely enjoyed the water and the sun.

Here’s a good general rule: If you don’t get lost, you’re not doing it right. Even visitors with GPS-like senses of direction will likely be bested by the meandering streets of the city. There’s no better way to explore the lovely maze of Venice than in a haze of mild confusion. The downside of getting lost, of course, is that it takes longer than you’d expect to get anywhere. So, locals advise, give yourself extra time to get around. Our hotel was close to all Attractions (the area San Marco). San Marco is the best area to book your hotel!

Now I want to tell you what I did in two days čÖé

——-

Herkese merhaba,

Bir hafta ├Ânce Venedikde harika iki g├╝n ge├žirdim! ├ťstelik hava g├╝ne┼čliydi!┬á

Venedik’de asl─▒nda ara sokaklar─▒ ke┼čfetmeniz laz─▒m. Yani telefonun navigasyonunu hi├ž a├žmadan. Peki iki g├╝n i├žerisinde nereleri ke┼čfetti─čimi size anlataca─č─▒m.

1 ) Go to the Burano island!

As you as can see this island is C O L O R F U L.

One vaporetto line runs from Venice to Burano: the 12. The large, express ferry runs from VeniceÔÇÖs San Zaccaria stop (near St. MarkÔÇÖs), to Burano and Murano, with another stop at VeniceÔÇÖs Fondamente Nove stop. It takes about 45 minutes, and costs┬áÔéČ6.50 per person. The island of Burano makes a fantastic day (or half-day) trip from Venice. If you have time to spare in Venice, hereÔÇÖs why you should add Burano to your list! We only visit the Burano island.

─░lk olarak Burano adaya gidin. Muhte┼čem renkli evleri ke┼čfedin. ─░nan─▒n hepsi bir birinden g├╝zel! Buraya biz San Marco’dan gittik. Zaten otelinizide ordan rezervasyon etmenizi ├Âneririm. Her yere ├žok yak─▒n. Burano adas─▒n─▒ en fazla 2 saat yetiyor.

2) Do a canal tour with the gondola

Most people recommend taking a gondola ride on the quiet, back canals rather than on the crowded Grand Canal. If you want to ride on the Grand Canal, a vaporetto is much less costly. Riding on canals outside the main tourist area lets you see a different view of Venice and there won’t be bumper to bumper gondalas.

Choose a gondola stop in the area you want to visit. If you want back canals, walk a few blocks off the main street (and away from San Marco) to look for a gondolier.

——-

Gondola turu yapmay─▒ unutmay─▒n. Hem tarihi bilgi veriyorlar hem ├žok e─členceli. Fiyat─▒ yar─▒m saat i├žin tuzlu olsada arkada┼č─▒mla yinede yapmak istedik i├žimizde kalmas─▒n diye. Yar─▒m saat gondol turu 80 euro. Ki┼či ba┼či 40 euro ya geliyor.

3) Visit the Basilica di San Marco, Piazza San Marco, Palazzo Ducale

IMG_5192

St. Mark’s Basilica is Venice’s most famous church, known for its art work and history. The church overlooks St. Mark’s Square on the edge of the Grand Canal and is joined to the Doge’s Palace. In the 9th century.

This square is the central point of the city, the place all tourists arrive at at some point during their stay in Venice.

The Doges Palace is a monumental piece of architecture and perhaps the most important site in Venice.

4) Visit the Ponte dei Sospiri & The Rialto Bridge

IMG_5238

The Rialto Bridge is arguably the most beautiful and definitely the most famous and oldest of the 4 bridges which cross Venice’s Grand Canal.

The Doges Palace is a monumental piece of architecture and perhaps the most important site in Venice. The building was originally founded in the 14th and 15th century with other elements being added over the years.

Rialto k├Âpr├╝s├╝n├╝n yap─▒l─▒┼č─▒ bir yar─▒┼čma sonucu ger├žekle┼čmi┼čtir. 16. y├╝zy─▒l─▒n sonlar─▒nda VenedikÔÇÖte bir yar─▒┼čma d├╝zenlenir. Yar─▒┼čmada eski k├Âpr├╝n├╝n yerine daha g├╝zel bir k├Âpr├╝ in┼čas─▒ i├žin mimarlar aras─▒nda yap─▒l─▒r. Bir ├žok ├╝nl├╝ mimar─▒n da kat─▒ld─▒─č─▒ bu yar─▒┼č─▒ Antonia da Ponte ad─▒nda bir mimar kazan─▒r. K├Âpr├╝ 1591 y─▒l─▒nda a├ž─▒l─▒r.┬áRialto k├Âpr├╝s├╝ sadece iki yakay─▒ birbirine ba─člamakla kalmaz, ayn─▒ zamanda son derece hareketli de bir al─▒┼čveri┼č alan─▒d─▒r. Asl─▒nda k├Âpr├╝ VenedikÔÇÖte yer alan en renkli yap─▒lardan biridir.

The Bridge of Sighs spans the Rio di Palazzo or Palace River connecting the Doge’s Palace with the Old Prison.

——-

En eski k├Âpr├╝lerden biri ise┬áBridge of Sighs.┬áLord Byron taraf─▒ndan 19. y├╝zy─▒lda verilen bu ismin mahkumlar─▒n VenedikÔÇÖe son kez bak─▒p i├ž ge├žirmesinden kaynakland─▒─č─▒ s├Âylenmektedir. Fakat asl─▒nda bu k├Âpr├╝den hafif su├žlu mahkumlar ge├žirilmekteydi. Daha a─č─▒r su├žlular┬áD├╝kler Saray─▒┬á(Palazzo Ducale) alt─▒ndaki k─▒sma ya da dipteki kuyulara at─▒l─▒rlard─▒.

5) Drink a lot of American coffee!

Don’t forget to say that you want to order American coffee. Otherwise┬áthey think that you order Espresso.

Italyan kahveleri┬á├žok lezzetlidir. Lakin Amerikan kahvesi demeye┬áunutmay─▒n. Normal kahve┬ádedi─činiz┬ázaman espresso getiriyorlar.

p.s. don’t forget to eat ice-cream čÖé
