A weekend get away don’t have to be expensive always!
Why? Because you can book a bungalow and go with your family. It’s cheaper and of course more fun! We booked a bungalow and did our groceries before we went to Belgium. Just take your coffee and tea with you!
Choosing where to walk in the Ardennes is not easy; there are so many wonderful areas to explore. But if you have never been to the Ardennes before, I would recommend Waterval Coo and Ninglinspo. It’s an excellent place to start with the beautiful area’s of Belgium. It’s a good place for people that loves to walk, like me!

Our first hotspot was the Turkish cafe Simitci Dunyasi. You can order here tasty Turkish breakfast, different sandwiches and desserts. You also have to try the Turkish coffee!

Two weeks ago I was on a sunny sunday at Amsterdam. It was 22 degrees! I did a visit to the Beurspassage before I went to the The Hortus Botanicus Garden. You can find lovely art at the Beurspassage. The Beurspassage Amsterdam is a part of the project Nowadays. It is transformed into a beautiful piece of art by artists Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam. The name of the work art is Amsterdam Oersoep. It is 10 minutes walking from the Central Station.
I did my lunch at Benji’s Amsterdam. You can eat here healthy yoghurt bowl. It was worth waiting.
After the lunch we did a visit to the Hortus Botanicus Garden.
